The Jungle Editions just released their third educational kit to promote their comic books for young readers (only in French). Available online for free, "Une vie de géant" (A giant life) is a tool for children to get familiar with the world of comics. Like the two previous ones, it is composed of an educational part about comics and some games to go further.
According to Julie Pavillon, digital and innovation project manager, "we published early June our "first comics" for younger readers who are not familiar with reading. Our intention is to provide teachers, libraries and parents support to help very young children (4-6 years) when discovering comics. "
Discover this new issue:
Une vie de géant (A giant life)
Two children build a beautiful giant using clay from the river
The previous two ones are still available online:
Gaspard et Berlingot (Gaspard and Berlingot)
The sweet travel between a father and his son
When parents are not there, the children are living magical adventures.
Our opinion: more than a playful support, providing additional content is the best way to promote a paid content. This is the basis of the "freemium", the most common business model for applications. Congratulations to the Jungle Editions for this original approach !!
