Discover the work and life of Peter Knapp with an app mixing image recognition and interactive content. Specially created for La Cité de La Mode et du Design exhibition in Paris, this app will tell you everything about this iconic artist: photographer, painter, graphic designer, art director, movie director, award-winning for best art book…
An artist, an exhibition, an app
The app named “Peter Knapp” has been realised as part of the exhibition “Dancing in the Street - Peter Knapp et la Mode, 1960-1970”, visible until June 10, 2018 at La Cité de La Mode et du Design in Paris. It has been developed by the Fixioneers studio specialized in visual communication and storytelling. The idea is to enrich the exhibition by providing additional interactive contents. As a result, this is a complete app with an intuitive navigation, surprising animations and visual effects.
The creator, Anne-Marie Von Dongen, is not a beginner with PandaSuite: she already realized three different applications, “Studio Blumenfeld”, “Zhang Dali” and the interactive magazine “Hardi”
Scan and get more content
The objective is not for visitors to keep their eyes on their smartphone during the visit but to access further details than the “physical” content. How? With the brand new feature: image recognition. All you have to do is to scan a picture from the exhibition and get associated content: audio records, photos, magazine covers .... The app will tell you many things about the life and work of Peter Knapp.
You will also have access to a complete and illustrated biographie. The app traces the exhibition in five different chapters.
The exhibition takes place at “La Cité de la Mode et du Design” in Paris from March 8 to June 10. Download the “Peter Knapp” app on Google Play and on the App Store, it’s totally free :
