Even it is one of the most powerful components, the HTML component was not very much loved by the PandaSuite users. You found it too complicated, with low customization and there wasn’t enough explanations.
Today, we are pleased to announce that this component has been redesigned to be more adapted for every user. Even if it is called “HTML”, it is not only reserved for code lovers 🙂
The Power Of HTML
Display online content, insert an HTML5 animation, insert a login form, use camera… it’s impossible to explain all you can do with the HTML component. It provides you the freedom of HTML and Javascript combined with the power of our design studio. Impressive, don’t you think?
Because we don’t want you to be lost with the infinite possibilities, we have prepared “ready-to-use” HTML modules with detailed guidelines for those who want to create their own interactive features.
New HTML Modules
We built these modules to offer new interactive features before incorporating them into the design studio. These are mini-components, the main difference is that they are built as a .zip file. To use them, you must insert them into your project and use them in an HTML component.
TADAM! Here are the first six modules:
Insert a Login Form
Restrict access to your app to registered users only.
Synchronize HTML5 Animation:
Display your HTML5 animations using the HTML component and use synchronization to go one step further.
Store Data Locally:
Keep track of the progress of a user and unlocked stages, even after closing the application.
Connect To An API (weather):
Connect to an API and get external data in your application such as weather conditions.
Use Camera:
Learn how to take a photo from your application and display it directly in your screens.
Use GPS:
Locate your users and trigger interactions according to their geographical position.
For more information, visit the new section dedicated to the LEARN space. And attend, we regularly add new! 🙂
Creating your own modules
In addition to these modules ready for use, you can now easily create your own modules. Like other components of the studio, you can define their properties, triggers, actions, markers or even sync settings. All the details are in this article.
Well, we will not lie, to create its own modules, you have to know them a little HTML / Javascript! At worst, you know a buddy who can get by if you need? 🙂
Much is expected of your best work, especially if you have created a nice HTML module, do not forget to share it with the community.
In short, using pre-established or yours modules, you will enjoy! With or without concept code, the HTML component is a goldmine: it deserves your attention 🙂
